Boys Weekend

Dustin takes the boys to Home Depot.

Dustin took the boys to Dad's neighborhood picnic last Sunday. Notice Colin sneaking the crackers. According to Dustin, he did this all afternoon.

Sawyer didn't have much interest in the crackers...he's more interested in his pacifier and his new top tooth (which he keeps grinding together with his bottom teeth).

Colin running around the lawn at the picnic. His belly looks pretty big after all of those crackers.

Colin came home from school yesterday wearing a necklace and alien antenna's that he made at school. He wore them all night!

(Sorry the pictures are blurry. They were taken using Dustin's blackberry. We really need to work on getting our new camera).

Kristen in San Diego

I can't write much, but I have been very delinquent in updating the blog and I apologize. Mom and I visited Ashley and Geoff over the weekend in San Diego. We had a packed weekend of activities. Here are some pictures. I'll add more later.

Here we are visiting the Hotel Del for drinks on the beach.

Mom and I in Geoff's helicopter. No, this wasn't the one that he landed on the golf course....I will add that picture later.
Ashley and I at a wedding reception on Sunday afternoon. Behind us is the city of San Diego and the Bay/Ocean.

All of us in front of the Marston House in Balboa Park right after the wedding ceremony.

Dustin is in Prague

Dustin left for Prague on Monday for a work conference. The boys and I are surviving, but just barely :) Unfortunately Dustin took our camera with him, so I don't have any new pictures of Colin & Sawyer. Colin has become the typical little boy....everything is now a gun. This is quite shocking to me as I didn't have a brother growing up and wasn't around very many little boys....but I hear this is quite normal. I think Sawyer is teething....or he has a constant cold/fever. Today he started doing a bit of the "army-man crawl" which means the gates are going back up in the next week or two :(

Here is the view from Dustin's hotel room. He comes back this weekend :)

Our New Bike Trailer

Daddy and Colin try the new trailer out in front of our house.

He is pretty excited about it and couldn't wait to show Sawyer.

Sawyer getting his diaper changed in his new helmet. The helmet came in handy when changing his diaper on the wood floor.

Colin and Sawyer survive the 7 mile ride. Unfortunately Sawyer's helmet was still too big and heavy for him once he was sitting up, so we forgo helmets on this trip through the neighborhood. They were both very quiet during the ride, except whenever we went by a playground or a house with toys in the front, Colin made it known that he wanted to play there and he wanted out.

We are pretty happy with our Craig's List purchase. I am planning on purchasing the jogging function, which comes separately and will add a front tire so it turns into a jogging double stroller. There is cupholders in the seating area and plenty of foot room for both boys. The seat also reclines in case we go on a 20-mile ride and they want to lay down (yeah right, like I will make 20 miles) :)

Labor Day Weekend

Our holiday weekend!

Playdate with Erin on Sunday morning. We ate lots of goldfish crackers and ran inside and outside.
Sunday evening BBQ outside. My two little bookworms....Colin was trying to focus on reading and didn't want his picture taken. Of course Mr. Sawyer, my photogenic baby, was loving it!
Colin and Dustin running back and forth across the lawn. Roscoe was racing as well, but he was too fast to catch on camera.
Colin was having a great time racing daddy.

Yesterday we bought bike helmets for Colin, Sawyer and Mommy. We are hoping to buy a double bike trailer for the boys today so we can start biking with the family.

Colin pedaling by himself. He was doing a great job, it's almost like the helmet gave him confidence to actually use the petals.
Sawyer attempting to crawl backwards. He loves to look at you upside down, he thinks it's hilarious.

Sawyer rolled his way over to his toy.

Sawyer likes it when Colin takes a nap because he has the run of the toys. Yesterday we changed around our living room to give the boys a much wider space for playing in the family room.
